Big Question 1 consists of Unit 1 & 2.

In this Big Question 1, we're going to see lots of animals. I love all animals, and I support WWF every month to save Indonesian wildlife.

I've been supporting WWF since 2011, that's how much I love animals.

SKIN

The thin tissue covering the body of a person, animal, fruit, & vegetable.

MAMMALS

Warm-blooded animal with fur or hair on its skin and a skeleton inside its body. Mammal mothers produce milk to feed their babies. Most mammals have four legs or two arms & two legs. Dogs, cats, & humans are all mammals.

EGGS

A cell in a female animal or in some kinds of plants that can develop into a new individual after it is fertilized.

AMPHIBIANS

A small animal that spends part of its life cycle in water and part of its life cycle on land.

Amphibians hatch in water and breathe with gills.

Then they develop lungs so the adults can breathe air.

Amphibians are cold-blooded animals with skeletons inside their bodies.

Frogs, toads, and salamanders are amphibians.

SCALES

Hard, thin plates that cover fish, reptiles, and certain other animals.

GILLS

Organ used for breathing by fish and other animals that live in water.

FEATHERS

Soft and light parts of a bird that grows from the skin and covers the body.

WINGS

A pair of movable body parts used by birds, bats, or insects to fly.

FUR

The soft thick hair that covers the bodies of certain animals.
